Deforestation

Half the forests of the planet have been destroyed through the XXth century, due to globalization. Ever stronger, deforestation is yet a very dangerous phenomenon we have to stop at all costs. Besides the fact of shaving thousands of hectares of forests, it causes the gradual disappearance of animal species.  Politicians often criticize but have never done anything significant against.  In fact, they earn a lot of money through this method. It is unlikely that this will stop someday ... Yet we can completely stop it. For millennia we have been able to consume the wood without abusing it. If we "parted" into small communities and if each community was following its own supply of wood, as it was the case previously, we would be able to live comfortably and ecologically.
